The Best of Mignery: A Collection of Humorous Western Art

Authors: Tom Sherman, Cornhuskers Press, and Herb Mignery
Average review score:

The Best of Mignery
What a fabulous, realistic, collection of "Down-To-Earth" humor about the American cowboy. Apparently, the artist has a good grasp of the true cowboy way of life and has keenly interjected his own sense of humor. I'm anxiously waiting to read more of this artist's work. I would highly recommend this humorous book for all ages.

The Biology of the Naked Mole-Rat (Monographs in Behavior and Ecology)
Published in Hardcover by Princeton Univ Pr (March, 1991)
Authors: Paul W. Sherman, Richard D. Alexander, and Jennifer U. Jarvis
Average review score:

predictive evolutionary theory
This is a very important book in that it describes one of the most interesting mammals ever discovered: the first eusocial mammal. It is also a testament to the remarkable ability of adaptationist thinking (reverse engineering) to develop ideas that can then be looked for in nature. The existence of the naked mole rat's unique social structure was predicted based on ideas about the general selective environment that was thought to have led to eusociality in other animals.

Blue's Amazing Body Book
Published in Hardcover by Simon Spotlight/Nickelodeon (01 September, 2001)
Authors: Michael Smith, Alison Sherman, and Jenine Pontillo
Average review score:

A Book a Parent Will Love
As the parent of an only child whose endless questions can some time be exasperating, I was grateful for and amused by "Blue's Amazing Body Book". My daughter, who is an ardent fan of the television series, is so enthralled with the pull tabs in the book, that she does not even realize that she is learning. We have made a game of anticipating what will appear with each tab pulled, and both my husband and I are amazed at our daughters ability to comprehend and memorize the different body parts and their function. The authors of this book have written it in such a way as to be childlike but not condescending, their understanding of children is just another example of the success of Blue's Clues and it's commitment to be used as a learning tool and not just a babysitter.

If I was him I would be scared?
The book Bull Riding by author Josepha Sherman is about Bull Riding at a rodeo and it is the dangerous sport.

I think Alex Grant would be a bull rider.

If I was him I would be scared becuase Alex Grant might have been to Las, Vegas at The National Finals Rodeo but, not really.

Michael Sponigol would be an NFR qualifier and he's been there at The National Finals 4 times in Las, Vegas at that rodeo.

Just make believe!
